When is the deadline to order?
Eat Prepped works with a model where you have to order before Thursday 9 PM for delivery the following Sunday (Monday - Wednesdays meals) & Wednesday (Thursday - Sundays meals). We update our Recommended Menu on a weekly basis.
Why is there a deadline?
We source all the ingredients fresh before the delivery day and do not freeze anything. Working with an order deadline eliminates food waste and makes sure we can select ingredients of the highest quality to prepare the meals.
What area do you deliver to?
We are constantly expanding our personal delivery area and network of Pick Up Points. We currently cover most of the Peterborough / Spalding / Stamford / Oundle / Bourne / Crowland areas - Postcodes PE1 - PE10, PE11 1, PE11 2, PE11 3, PE12 6, PE12 & & PE12 0. What days of the week do you deliver and at what time?
We deliver meals on Sundays and Wednesdays to your home. Deliveries will be late afternoon / early evening.
Do I pay for delivery?
Delivery to your home is free for orders over £24.50. Orders under £24.50 are charged at a flat delivery rate of £10 to your home.
Is there a minimum order value?
No, but we have a minimum order value of £24.50 for free delivery.
How is Eat Prepped different from other meal delivery services?
Many services provide you with the raw ingredients and recipe suggestions, where you have to cook the meal yourself. Eat Prepped offers you a box of ready-made, clean meals prepared with quality ingredients to meet your nutrition goals. No cooking or grocery shopping required. Additionally, unlike most other meal delivery services, our meals are made by real restaurant chefs in a real commercial kitchen.
Can I order any number of meals that I like?
You can fill up your shopping cart with any number of weekly menus or individual meals. You can also add any snacks or drinks with your order.
Can I order all my meals for one delivery day?
We would prefer that you didn't! This is because we think our meals are best consumed within three days of delivery.
Do you have recurring orders, like a subscription model?
Yes, we do! With our Subscription Scheme, you select the number of meals you would like to get delivered every week. You can give specific preferences and we will make sure those meals get delivered to you. You save 20% off your first order (and don't forget our Recommended Menus are already discounted, so double bonus!) and you can skip orders or cancel your subscription at any time prior to the Thursday order deadline.
Can I cancel my order?
You can cancel your order for a full refund before the order deadline on Thursday. You can drop us a message at any time. If you are on a subscription and want to skip one week, you need to skip it before the order deadline. After the order deadline cancellations are not possible anymore. You can make your friends, girlfriend, boyfriend or parents happy with tasty food for the upcoming week.
How long do the meal stay fresh?
The meals stay good for 3 days after delivery.
Are your meals frozen?
Frozen? Hell no. Our meals are always fresh and prepared as close to the delivery day as possible (during the night before and on the morning of delivery). Simply heat up for a couple of minutes in the microwave and you are good to go. If you need to, you can freeze meals to eat and enjoy later.
How do I reheat the meals?
The packaging is microwaveable. You can also take the food out of the package and reheat it on a plate in a microwave for 2-3 minutes. If microwave technology is not your favorite, you can heat it in a pan which will preserve the taste the most. All meals are prepared in that way that after 2-3 minutes of heating they are perfect for eating. Some meals can be eaten cold, such as our salads.
Is your packaging biodegradable?
We are working on it! We are committed to being as environmentally friendly as possible. However, currently our packaging is not biodegradable but is recyclable in most recycling schemes.
I have allergies. How do I know I am safe to eat the meals?
Each menu comes with a full ingredient list on our website. So you know exactly what you are ordering. If you want to be completely sure what you are ordering suits you, you can always ask us. Please remember though that our commercial kitchen handles nuts on a daily basis so cross contamination is possible although we take every precaution to avoid this.
